When I was in China, there are too many English learner then how to remember words is huge question for us, we tried too many different ways to remember words but the result is not so good, so sometimes I was thinking why I can remember what I eat yesterday, but I can’t remember the word I just remembered yesterday, the reason I finally found is because I use the long-term memory to remember the situation and use the short-term memory to remember vocabularies, so I can’t remember vocabularies as well as I remember my life process.

Long-term memory is usually to help people remembering the life process. For example: when you are talking to your friend about yours childhood, you can recall what have you done when you are so young immediately, you can remember your life, but you might can’t remember the detail what you doing every day, so that’s long-term memory, also long-term memory is created from short-term memories, do those things can improve your long-term memory, exercise your body and your brain, sleep well, avoid stress, eat well, concentrate more, use mnemonics and, replay new memories. Making more associations can help connect the memory to other triggers. For example, if a person needs to remember to purchase an apple on the way home, they might imagine buying the apple at a specific store that and they will pass the process, so the image of the store helps chain the memory.

We usually to use it to remember a new phone number until you write it down. we might usually loss memory in books or movies, but in real life in actually quite rare. Do one thing in one time, avoid distractions, fully concentrate, say it out loudly, memory bait, chunk, and write it down.
